Visit to Mantralyam and Srisilam

Hi Guys

This is my first blog which i have been writing about my visit to Mantralyam and Srisilam .
I started my Journey with my wife on 25 Dec 2008 , We left Bangalore at 10.45 AM . It was quite Hot Day and we took our own vehicle Innova for journey . The Distance is around 390 Km from Bangalore to Mantralyam . On the Way 40 Kms behind Antapur there is a Kumbakarna Moorthy very well carved . You need to pay 2 Rs as Entry Fee, We left this place and started journey . On the Way we get to place called NHS cross , we had lunch there . This is the only place were we get good food . We reached Mantralayam at 6.30 PM . We booked room and freshend up .We went for Raghavendra swamy darshan , Since it was thursday was quite rush .
After darshan we had dinner in one of the restaurents . There is free food serving from temple .
